Membership

Achieve an increase in membership growth annually

  • Increase membership by 20-25% for 2015-2016 Board Year
  • Develop a membership campaign
  • Develop new membership welcome kit
  • New member mentor/sponsor
  • Quarterly new member luncheon to be facilitated by member(s) of board
  • Develop a retention program to help retain members

Professional Development

Provide valuable and intriguing educational programs for our members

  • Find enthusiastic presenters with current relevant industry topics
  • Minimum of 6 events for 2015-2016 Board Year
  • Attempt to make a majority of events CE

Communication

Keep membership informed of upcoming events

  •  Website to be useful to membership and user friendly
  • Expand Social Media, and develop marketing surrounding
  • Develop Did you Know Monthly campaign
  • Make sure membership list is updated with current contact info

Legislative

Develop strong relationships with our state legislators to influence appropriate legislation regarding health care in Virginia 

  • Continue with Regional Legislative calls and report back to members
  • Develop or work with State Legislative Team to develop monthly Legislative Report, and discuss at monthly membership meetings
  • Attend State Day on Hill and Capital Conference

Budget

Increase revenue for the purpose of member benefits and activities

  • Increasing fundraising efforts through sponsorships
  • Develop a standard price structure for membership meetings

Media

Increase exposure to local media

  • Create list of media outlets
  • Send out 6-12 Press releases
  • Monitor media outlets for publishing
